Back when the OnGrid Tool was the industry's go-to $ modeling option...

OnGrid hosted twice-weekly conference calls. Andy, and then Mike, went around the "room" answering questions with screen share.

With ten or more users in the room... it could be a PV-nerd party in there. There was working thru software issues, but also some rich discussion around energy and financial modeling.

OnGrid was also available by phone and email.

Now Mike is trying to make it as a one-man-band PV installer (thru Oakstead).

The OnGrid Tool — as a free and open-source option — is provided as is. There's no guarantee of support. With that said, you're welcome to email Mike with Tool questions: mike@ongrid.wtf. It might take him a while to reply, but he will (maybe not to your satisfaction).

The latest OnGrid Tool user manual — from 2013 — is available here. Use your discretion on whether particular sections apply to the current OnGrid Tool version (e.g. the companion web app OnGrid Sky has been removed).
